Avinity has won a four year appointment with Procurement for Housing (PfH) – a national procurement consortium of Housing Associations, Local Authorities and Arms Length Management Organisations which together comprise 65% of the social housing sector. The consortium generates substantial savings by harnessing the collective purchasing power of housing organisations.
The successful appointment of Avinity was following a thorough tender process that led to several organisations being shortlisted, including a number of major high street retailers. Avinity are delighted to have been awarded sole supplier status on the framework and are looking forward to working with PfH to generate cost savings and business efficiencies for social housing providers, and delivering exceptional value for money for their members.
Avinity CEO, Rupert Poulson commented:
“This is an amazing achievement for Avinity and we are exceptionally proud to have been awarded the sole supplier of domestic appliances and electricals to Procurement for Housing (PfH). It provides us with a fantastic opportunity and reflects our growing presence of supplying domestic appliances to the social housing sector. Our collaborative ‘can-do’ attitude is core to absolutely everything we do at Avinity and we are looking forward to working in partnership with Procurement for Housing and supporting its members in the supply of domestic appliances and electricals.
